Giving, Receiving and Appreciating Referrals

Train your outreach to know what to look for.  Here is Barb’s message, personalize for your own business:

Dear _____;

I do appreciate your effort and focus in finding referrals for me – so here are some qualifiers to look for and what I’d be thrilled to receive as a referral.

  • Association or group who is hosting an event (reunion, milestone, wedding, anniversary or special birth date)
  • Biz owners who have a product or service that would require a professional looking portfolio – note, these could be cosmetic dentists that want to show before & after, realtors who want to gift their home owner with a coffee table book of their home; artists who have jewelry, pottery, artwork to display in a beautiful book format.
  • Not for Profits or organizations that wish to give a memorable keepsake to their volunteers as year end or end of their show or gala.
